Custer’s Last Stand Re-enactment Package:
You may plan for all or part of this package tour.


Few events have aroused as much passion and controversy as General George Armstrong Custers disastrous encounter with the Sioux and Northern Cheyenne at Little Bighorn on June 25,1876.
In the company of Lee Christiansen, examine Custer's defeat in the mist of this battle as the mysteries and victories are explored.
This tour is designed for you to experience both the world of the solider by attending a Grand Ball and the Indian warrior by attend a powwow. Then both worlds meet in battle.

Thursday evening June 25:
*Join the honored guest, George Armstrong and Libby Custer as a participant or as an observer at the 1876 Grand Ball.
* Enjoy the authentic fashions, music, and dances of the late 1800's and a selection of Victorian treats and beverages.



Friday 26, 27, and 28:
* A Thoroughly informative tour of the Little Bighorn Battlefield, Last Stand Hill, Reno-Benteen Defense site, Deep Ravine and Custer National Cemetery
* Experience the force of the 7th Cavalry and feel the intensity of the Indian horseman who ride with power & grace at the reenactment.
* Enjoy living history demonstrations, a Teepee Village, period stores and period dress.
* View rare artifacts & The tomb of the unknown soldier at Garryowen.
* Lunch stop available but not included in price.

Friday Evening 26 & Saturday Evening June 27:
*Experience what it is that the Crow people keep as culture and tradition.
*Old Crow Indian style powwow with traditional dance, displays of design beaded creation and food booths.

Crow Fair Package:
Tepee Capital of the World.

Each year on the third weekend of August (Moon of heat waves on the grass), the season finale is the premier Powwow of the Plains Indians.
From every western state and Canada, Indians come to camp along the Little Bighorn River.
Holding spectacular parades, an all Indian rodeo with cowboys from all over the nation, and traditional competition dancing and drumming.
This package is designed to offer knowledge of the culture and experience the traditions with knowledgeable guides and in a safe environment. Lodging can be include and some meals. You may select all or portions of the package. Call for pricing.

Thursday of the third weekend of August:
Indian Trails Tour -- this will give you an over view of the Crow nation and a better understanding the way of live present and past.

Friday of the third weekend of August:
The spectacular morning parade, an all- Indian rodeo, and tour Battle of the Little Bighorn.

Saturday of the third weekend of August:
evening parade & traditional competition dancing.

Hutterite Colony Tour:

Narrator tour of Mountain View Colony and the completed project of the Roundup / Broadview Railroad spur line.
The largest railroad line built in Montana since 1970.

Highlights:
• Experience of the farming techniques with a tour of the barns & garden with colony garden manager.

Weatherman Draw ("Valley of the Chiefs")
June 24th 2009
Small group tour for only $99 per person.


Bring backpack for sack lunch, bottle water, hat, sunscreen, and extra clothing.
You'll need walking shoes, dress in layers, and be ready for rain or heat.
Slow steady walking n among sagebrush and wild grass. Weatherman Draw, also known as the "Valley of The Chiefs", a two-mile stretch of history, hides numerous multicolored depictions of people, shields and animals which scientists believe are over 1000 years old.
The mystical depictions are considered the best-preserved examples of rock in the High Plains. More than 10 Indian tribes hold the area sacred. Threatened by oil drilling in the late 1990's, the site is now preserved under a donation to the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Highlights:
• Directed by Howard Bogess, an enrolled member of the Crow Tribe and a Native Crow Historian. He has worked in coalition with Sierra Club to prevent oil drilling in Weatherman Draw.
• Walk up the canyon to the Valley of the Chiefs, think about the hundreds of people who came to use this sacred valley for more than a thousand years
• Delight in the discovery of more than ninety pieces of rock art found today and cataloged by the Bureau of Land Management archeologists
• Amazing stories of conflect, Indian traditions and cereomonies that are told by the art rock.

The trip include but not limited to an evening campfire presentation with a ranger, short hikes to geyser and hot springs, a narrated boat cruise on Lake Yellowstone ( when available), wild life viewing with spotting scopes that are provided by us, Old Faithful Geyser, and Artist Point at Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Picnic lunch on first day, and hot breakfast on second day.
The tour will depart with a hotel pickup in Billings at 8:00am on day one and return no later than 8:00 PM on day two.
This tour is a custom tour with no less than 2 people and no more than 6 people.
