Custer's Last Stand Reenactment & Little Bighorn Battlefield Tour

The 136th Anniversary of the Battle takes place June 22nd, 23rd, and 24th 2012.

The most controversial battle in American History is fought again each June near the actual battle site. Re-enactors represent Sioux, Northern Cheyenne and Arapaho warriors and the 7th Cavalry.

Tour Schedule:
Day 
  • Depart Billings @ 8:30am

Reenactment: Experience the force of the 7th Cavalry and feel intensity of the Indian Horseman who rides with power and grace. Living history demonstrations, a TeePee Villiage, and Period Dress complete the reenactment.


  • Tour Little Bighorn Battlefield
  • Tour Last Stand Hill
  • Tour Reno-Benteen Defense Site
  • Tour Deep Ravine and Custer National Cemetery
  • Visit Trading Post & Museum
  • Lunch at the Reenactment provides the opportunity to try Buffalo Burgers or Indian Fry Bread and other assorted food booths.

 

  • Arrival in Billings @ 4:00pm
Night
  • Depart Billings 7:00pm
 
  • Attend a Powwow! Experience culture, traditions, and food at this evening event. Old Crow Indian style Powwow with traditional dance and drummers. Shopping opportunity of Crow and Cheyenne hand-crafted creations. 
 
  • Arrival in Billings @ 11:00pm (estimated)

 

Included in Cost are all entrance fees, guide, transportation, and hotel pickup.  Lunch cost is not included.
